Welcome to: Midlife Reimagined

Midlife changes the way your body talks to you.

You’ve probably already noticed (but maybe didn’t realize you weren’t alone):

  • What used to work doesn’t.

  • What you could push through… you can’t.

  • What you tolerated… you don’t want to anymore.

I’m writing here from inside that shift.

I’ve spent 30+ years teaching yoga, coaching midlife women, creating courses, and studying energy, nervous system regulation, manifestation, and wellness. I’ve guided thousands of women through transformation.

And now?

I’m living my own midlife recalibration in real time.

This Substack is where I explore it honestly.

Not as a guru. (BUT I do have a lot of educated experience!)
Not as a finished product. (Ahem… yeah, not even. :-) )
But as a woman paying attention.

What I Write About

  • Energy: what builds it, what drains it - My search has been for “True Energy”, helping my body have as much energy as possible naturally.

  • Sleep: Ahem… enough said? Seriously, I talk about the quality of your sleep. How to wake up feeling as well-rested as you can.

  • Yoga & movement: Yoga has been the bedrock of my wellness lifestyle for over 35 years and I have been a Yoga Teacher for 30+ years. Yoga can transform - I’ll help you navigate what you need.

  • Exercise & recovery: What do you really need? My start in this field was a masters in Exercise Physiology - and I didn’t learn anything at that time that helps women in midlife. (And, yes, you read that correctly.)

  • Food & supplements: Somethings may surprise you!

  • Receiving, self-worth, and nervous system safety: Bigger than you realize. (And something I have worked on really hard.)

Some posts are free and personal — reflections on what’s working, what isn’t, and what midlife is teaching me.

Paid posts go deeper — specific protocols, structured practices, and the “here’s exactly what I’m doing” details.

Why This Space Exists

Many midlife women are quietly recalibrating but feel alone. They don’t realize other midlife women are doing the same thing.

BUT:

  • We don’t need more hustle.

  • We don’t need louder motivation.

  • We don’t need another rigid plan.

We need discernment.
Simplicity.
Permission to adjust.

This is a space for women who want to feel strong — but not braced.
Disciplined — but not punishing. (I’ll share my discipline story with you soon!)
Ambitious — but not depleted. (Depletion is a big issue for us - and we don’t even know it because it’s just the way we have always felt.)

About me…

Hey, there! My name is Laura. I’ve been a Life Coach + Yoga Educator + Wellness Advocate for 35 years. I love guiding others to life lives that are deeply fulfilling.

I married my best friend, Ron, 27 years ago. He’s a Tai Chi Teacher. (He’ll show up here sometimes - we enjoy teaching together!). We have 2 amazing adult children, Zack and Sierra.

I blend coaching techniques with Yoga and vice versa to help us transform on all levels of our beings. We aren’t just our minds or our bodies or our emotions, we are all of them interwoven into a beautiful tapestry.
